SilverYachts and BIC Marine are proud to announce the launch of their joint partnership that commenced on 28 January 2021, bringing together a pioneer of advanced, eco-fuel efficient, and award-winning vessels in SilverYachts and a high-growth, entrepreneurial strategic and finance partner in BIC Marine. BIC Marine as the newest venture of the BIC Group, a Southeast-Asia and abased conglomerate active in financial services, real estate, and new energy economy is excited for the opportunity in becoming a strategic partner with SilverYachts.

Mr. Yim Leak, BIC Group’s chairman, and an enthusiastic yachtsman, announced that “BIC is looking forward to our strategic partnership with SilverYachts and are confident that this is but the first step of a prosperous and exciting relationship going forward”. For SilverYachts, the partnership means first and foremost building on the success of its Silver Loft Hull 005 (BOLD), with an exciting yet subtle evolution to the original Silver Loft taking shape in the form of Hull 006 (the 85 metre Project Silver World Explorer), due for delivery in the near future.

Jointly, SilverYachts and BIC Marine will work together to expand SilverYachts’ ever-increasing global brand recognition to focus on Southeast-Asia in particular, BIC Marine’s home market. As a new marketing partner for the ASEAN region, focusing on Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam, BIC Marine is well primed to bring the SilverYacht proposition to an exciting, high-growth region to the yachting world. Of particular interest is the new SpaceCat, an advanced, high-capability
and flexibility 35 metre vessel currently under build and which is slated to be built as a series vessel ideally suited to the region. With its various business hubs spread across the region, whether in Bangkok, Phuket, Phnom Penh, or Sihanoukville, BIC Marine will add significant regional coverage and local representation to SilverYachts’ expanding portfolio of cutting-edge, high performance and efficient vessels.

The Global Liquidity Exchange Co., Ltd. (GLX), a subsidiary of the BIC Group, launched its services after obtaining the Central Counterparty License from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia (SECC) on December 3. “The derivative brokerage businesses in Cambodia have experienced significant growth. Consequently, it is a suitable time for GLE to begin operations to create the friendships between investors and better serve our customers as well as our commercial partners. “This can help develop the financial market as well as the derivatives trading businesses in the securities sector in Cambodia, control risks for the people involved, and ensure convenience and transparency of the businesses,” said GLX CEO San Chankompheak. GLX is a highly-advanced financial technology that was given permission to use the new trading systems – such as Meta Trader 4 and Meta Trader 5.

The launch of MT5 will help position the company to absorb more clients and offer a broader suite of services.

The financial services industry continues to see the proliferation of the MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform in 2019. This includes a fresh push in Southeast Asia with Cambodian derivatives broker BIC Markets launching MT5, per a company statement.

MT5 has seen its availability rise across global markets, with many more brokers than ever before shifting to the newer variant over industry-standard MT4.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia — Monday, the 6th of May, 2019, Kulen Property Group, a subsidiary of BIC Group, held it’s formal groundbreaking ceremony for its latest project, One Central Tower. With an initial investment of 200m USD, One Central Tower will be the starting point of a multi-phase development project that will transform the Boeung Senor area into a world-class urban destination integrating commercial offices, retail, hospitality, residential and green open spaces within the 24,000 square meter space.

Situated on the banks of the Mekong River, the landmark development will become a new lifestyle hub for the city integrating live, work, and play. One Central Tower will be comprised of four tower buildings, starting with the 38 floor luxury residential condominium and a 22 floor office building. Construction on the first phase is expected to be completed in 2022.
